My Mother
My Poem: MY MOTHER
A graceful woman
who's kind, loving, beautiful like
a flamingo
Romantic to dad
their relationship will last
forever till end
Since birth until now,
she still takes care of us all,
symbolized by the heart
Always supports me
in whatever I will do
mainly in choir
Will do anything
to protect all of us like
a beautiful clam
My description of my picture:
The poem is made up of 5 haikus.
The flamingo feeding 4 young chicks
resembles the four of us, my siblings and me,
being fed by its mother, my mum.
The rose resembles love from my mum to my dad.
The harp resembles her love for me in terms
of supporting in my CCA.
The clam with the pearl on it resembles
our mother protecting her child preciously.
The heart symbolizes her love and care for us.

She is who that will eternally embrace us,
For she is all the phases of our past
Looking back we realise,
There isn't much to demise
For she is whom that will eternally embrace us,
As she is all of our past

poem: a tree is like a mother.
poem: a tree is like a mother.
it can shelter its young one from the rain and wind,
like how a mother protects her child when in danger.
a tree is as loving as a mother
it is willing to sacrifice her body to protect her seedlings from nature,
like how a mother can watch over her child regardless of obstacles.
a tree is like a mother.
it is willing to love its young ones with all her love,
like how a mother will love her child.

you nag and nag,
sounding like an old hag.
but when I am down,
you told me not to frown.
your love is like the ocean,
never ending but kept stretching.
you worry so much,
like a typical mother such.
but you have a heart of gold,
the one that never let me go cold.
you are often the peace making dove,
the one that i will always love!
